LEARNING OUTSIDE OF CLASS ROOM! Grade 7,8 and 9 students embarked on an exciting trip to Kenya’s spectacular Kericho Tea Plantations and Kisumu international Airport exploring the vast Kericho tea plantations, Kisumu airport metrological department, Impala sanctuary, Kit Mikayi, Dunga beach and Kisumu Museum.  The trip offered valuable learning opportunity on science behind tea cultivation. Students gained valuable insights about, cultural preservation. wildlife conservation, unique ecosystems and how weather forecasts and climate predictions are observed.

Taking learning to the kitchen!   Grade 8 students brought learning to life in the kitchen by preparing a traditional meal of ugali, green leafy vegetables, and chicken.  The hands-on project blended practical skills with cultural appreciation, making education both fun and meaningful.

Exploring the Mountains & Lakes of Kenya   Grade 8 students embarked on an exciting adventure to Mt. Longonot and Lake Naivasha, exploring Kenya’s stunning mountains and lakes.  The trip offered a perfect blend of physical challenge, environmental learning, and fun outdoor experiences.

Engaging Learning Space Checkmate! Primary School Chess Championship a Resounding Success The annual Primary School Chess Championship was a thrilling event, showcasing the incredible talent and strategic prowess of our young chess enthusiasts. Over 100 students from local schools gathered to compete in a series of intense matches, each one more exciting than the last. From the opening moves to the final checkmate, the atmosphere was electric as players demonstrated their keen analytical skills and unwavering focus. The championship not only highlighted the students’ dedication to the game but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and sportsmanship among the participants. Congratulations to all the competitors, and a special shoutout to the top three finishers who will represent our district in the upcoming regional tournament. We can’t wait to see how they continue to hone their skills and make us proud. Until next year, keep practicing and remember – every great chess player started as a beginner!
